WHY WE LOVE IT

A perpetual calendar is like a small computer on your wrist.

Think of it this way: Imagine a watch that keeps track of not only the time, but also the date, the day of the week, and the month, and also tells you whether it’s a leap year or not, and what the current phase of the moon is. Oh, and one more thing — imagine it does all of this mechanically, using springs and gears, and that you only have to adjust it once every century or so. Crazy, right?

Perpetual calendars are Patek Philippe’s speciality — it’s been making them in series since the 1940s. This particular quantieme perpetual, a Reference 5140R-011 dating to circa 2018, is a true beauty. Housed in a 37mm 18K rose gold case, it features a sapphire crystal, sapphire exhibition caseback, 18k rose gold signed crown, and a beautiful, satin silver ‘Tiffany’-signed dial with applied rose gold indices and matching dauphine handset. Powered by the Cal. 240 Q automatic movement with micro-rotor, it’s absolutely a piece of horological art — the type of timepiece that gets passed down through the generations.

It would be enough to enjoy this innovative wristwatch on its own, but this particular timepiece also comes with its outer boxes, inner electronic watch-winder box, books, leather folder, certificate of origin from Patek Philippe confirming sale in 2018, and dated purchase receipt. 

Any old wristwatch can tell the time. Few truly define it.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in fantastic condition overall showing light signs of wear from age and use. Satin silver 'Tiffany' signed dial with applied yellow gold indices is in as-new condition with matching yellow gold 'dauphine' handset. Sapphire exhibition caseback. 18K signed crown.

10-Day Returns For Timepieces:

Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.

30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:

All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
