Description

From its inception and to the present day, Jaeger-LeCoultre has produced timepieces that are both timeless and perpetually appealing. Though their quality is often under-sung, JLC's present-day pieces sing to us in the same soft, alluring timbre as their vintage offerings. With understated elegance, they exude an appeal that even the most steadfast of vintage collectors can't resist. 

For a modern watch, the Master Control Perpetual Calendar looks as though it could be fifty years old, and we mean that in a good way — a very good way. With its slim 36.5mm stainless steel case and subregisters with month, day, date, and moon-phase indicators arranged artfully on the dial, it features many of the beloved design elements of some of our favorite midcentury wristwatches. With its applied 'dart' indices, skeletonized 'dauphine' handset, luminous 'dot' indices, and subtle moonphase display, it’s about as understated as a perpetual calendar can get. 

It has the look and feel of an older watch, but with the technical excellence and dependability that distinguishes their modern products. This watch is powered by the elegant Caliber 889/440/2 movement — JLC, as a true manufacture, designs and manufactures such movements to meet rigorous quality standards. Each calibre produced by the maison must pass a 1,000-hour test before leaving the factory. This test, more punishing than even those imposed by COSC, is implemented only by JLC. 

The Master Control series — which was joined in the mid 2000s by the Master Ultra Thin series — exudes the brilliance of modern design coupled with the emotional connection only a brand with the gravitas and wherewithal of Jaeger-LeCoultre could pull off. This particular Master Control Perpetual rests in a comfortable realm between luxury and practicality, at home in both casual and professional environments. It's the perfect combination of vintage elegance and modern ingenuity, a testament to the gravitas with which JLC imbues all of its timepieces.

Our secure shipping service delivers Monday - Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. For security purposes, every delivery requires an adult signature; Mayors does not deliver to P.O. boxes nor third party forwarding services. Return Policy

Our commitment to you does not end at delivery. We offer the following return services to make your experience as pleasant as possible.

10-Day Returns For Timepieces:

Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.

30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:

All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
