Few collections embody that philosophy better than the now-iconic Cintrée Curvex line. Introduced during the creative surge of the mid-1990s and early 2000s, these distinctive 'tonneau-shaped' watches walk a careful line between classical watchmaking and playful design. Often referred to as the “Master of Complications” (the title even appears on the caseback), Muller built his reputation on watches that were both technically accomplished and visually unmistakable.
 
This example, reference 5850 Q 24, showcases that signature aesthetic beautifully. The curved 18k yellow-gold case measures 32mm by 40mm and sits comfortably on the wrist while delivering the architectural presence that defines the Cintrée Curvex. The dial is a two-tone silver guilloché (engine-turned) composition featuring center seconds, a date display via an inner graduation with central index, and a 24-hour AM/PM indication distinguishing daytime and nocturnal hours through a subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock. Large stylized numerals and sweeping hands reinforce the brand’s playful yet refined design language.
 
This piece is part of a numbered limited edition, marked No. 09, adding an extra layer of collectability for those who appreciate early-era Muller production. Even better, it comes as a complete set, including the inner wooden presentation box, outer box, signed Certificate of Origin dated 2006, and service records from the mid-2000s — an uncommon level of documentation that speaks to careful stewardship over the past two decades.
 
Inside beats the automatic Caliber 2800, providing reliable performance beneath the sculptural exterior. Paired with a leather strap and secured by an 18K yellow-gold pin buckle clasp, the watch is signed across the dial, case, and movement.

10-Day Returns For Timepieces:

Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.

30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:

All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
