No, it’s not a Tank. And yes, it deserves your attention!

While Parisian jeweler to the stars Cartier may be best known in horological circles for its famed Tank watch, the French firm produced — and continues to produce — numerous other models that deserve equal billing for their unique and sumptuous designs. 

One such collection is the Ronde de Cartier. With its nod to classic, round midcentury timepieces, it provides a departure from the rectangular forms for which the maison is so well known. Available in steel or precious metals and in both quartz and automatic movements, it’s the perfect alternative to the Tank. 

This particular Ronde Solo de Cartier is housed in a 35mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a sapphire cabochon crown. Simple yet refined — and very thin — it features a satin silver dial with printed Roman and Arabic indices, an inner ‘railroad’ minute track with 24-hour scale, a blued-steel ‘sword’ handset, and a date window at 3:00. Powered by a robust quartz movement, it comes paired to a matching steel ‘H’-link bracelet with a deployant clasp.

Accompanied by its inner box and booklet, this midsize Cartier makes for an excellent everyday or dressier option- suitable for any wrist.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in fantastic condition overall showing recent professional refinishing and faint signs of wear from careful handling. Satin silver dial with printed ‘Roman’ and 'Arabic' indices is in as-new condition with matching blued-steel 'sword' handset. Sapphire cabochon crown.

Return Policy

10-Day Returns For Timepieces:

Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.

30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:

All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
