Details

Semi-Pointed Crown Guard case is in excellent, unpolished condition with crisp bevels and sharp lugs, showing signs of wear consistent with age and use. Inner case back engraved 7528, dated I.68, a known production anomaly. Dial is in beautiful condition with warm patina to the luminescent elements. Professionally matched handset. Early Rolex signed crown. Beautiful ghosted 'Fat Font' bezel insert with matching Tritium pip.

Includes 20mm stainless steel folded link Oyster Bracelet (7836/270) dated 2/70 with signed clasp.

Why We Love It

While "Snowflake" dial Tudor Submariners from the 1970s and early 80s are incredibly cool, the earliest versions are even more impressive.

Dating from 1968, this Reference 7016/0 Submariner is an iconic short production model. The dial and hands have a patina that will make you swoon. It also features an unpolished case, exceptional dial, professionally color matched handset, semi-pointed crown guards and a ghosted bezel that makes the knees of grown men go all wobbly.

The bottom line is that if this piece were a Rolex Submariner with the same attributes...well, you know what we're about to say.

Not only is this 7016/0 an incredibly beautiful and historical piece in its own right, but it offers a tremendous value proposition when stacked against a Rolex version.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
