Designed for adventure seekers, the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra embodies versatility to support the journeys of its wearers both on land and at sea. This year the Aqua Terra has entered exciting new territory with a fresh look for the dials of the 2021 collection. New for this year and an absolute first is the introduction of the Small Seconds subdial at 6 o’clock.

The word ‘icon’ is overused in watchmaking but is undeniably relevant when it comes to the OMEGA Seamaster. First launched in 1948 to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary, the Seamaster has become an OMEGA staple, finding fans in everyone from professional divers to James Bond himself.

And revered collections such as the Aqua Terra have gone on to enjoy their own success as part of the Seamaster family. The Seamaster quickly became a leader in the field of diving tools, and a favourite among those who worked at sea. Today, the design remains true to the original, but augmented with the very latest technology.

The exciting new 2021 collection comprises ten 38mm models, including two luxury editions, and nine 41mm models, to include four luxury versions. The most prominent and key feature on all new models is the Small Seconds subdial at 6 o’clock with an applied subdial ring, many of which are in 18K Sedna™ gold and some which sparkle with diamonds. The stunning new dials in subtle sun-brushed shades are detailed with a two-tone teak pattern and striking hour markers ranging from incremental diamond indexes to sailboat hull-shaped indexes set with a shimmering mother-of-pearl inlay. Presented on a matching metal bracelet or a range of complementary and colourful leather or rubber straps, this luxury timepiece exudes versatility, tailoring to the preferences of its audience.

The new OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra pieces are a fantastic example of OMEGA’s testament to creating powerful yet stylish tool watches, and these would be the ideal piece for a watch collector who wants an exceptional timepiece with a history behind it.Lisa Broun, Senior Watch Buyer
