| How to return an order: 1. Obtain the Return Authorization Code: Call Mayors customer service at 1-800-758-2511 ext. 3769 to obtain a return authorization number. Complete the return form provided with the original packing materials. Write the RA number on the outside of the package you are returning. 2. Packing your order: Secure your item(s) and all the original packing materials, including the return form, packing slip and the diamond certificate (a $200 replacement fee will be charged otherwise) if appropriate, in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (the post office has these available if you do not). NOTE: Do not write Mayors, jewellery, diamonds or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package, as this invites theft. 3. Shipment and Insurance: Use the following shipping
methods depending on the value of your order. For your protection, please
insure every return and make sure you get a receipt confirming your return
has reached Mayors. Mayors is not responsible for items lost or damaged
while shipping. ii. If your order value is over $500, ship your return via USPS, Canada Post registered mail or UPS (subject to some conditions*). * International shipments containing jewellery are limited to $500. Shippers are prohibited from shipping any article which contains more than fifty percent by weight of gold, silver, or platinum or any combination thereof in raw form, bullion, balls, bars, grains, strip, sheet, wire, chain, ingots and the scrap of these metals. Shippers are prohibited from shipping unset, precious stones, which includes,
diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. ii. For returns of over $500, customers will have to get items insured by a 3rd party insurance company like One Service or Malca Amit. (FedEx and UPS will not insure international orders over $500.). Mayors is not responsible for arranging coverage/insurance for any returns. 4. Mail the package to: Our laboratory will inspect and verify the condition of the item once
we receive the return. Returns take approximately five business days to
process upon receipt of the item. The original Mayors security tag must
still be on the item in order for refunds to be processed. Mayors will
refund the full cost of the item EXCLUDING shipping**,
handling and insurance charges. Refunds will be made using the mode of
payment used in the original purchase. A. Packages without a return authorization number will not be accepted for refund. B. Items must be returned in the same condition as it was sent from Mayors within a month of purchase. Orders received after this date will not be accepted for a refund, exchange or repair. C. Any returns showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweler other than Mayors), or damaged in any way will not be accepted for return. D. Custom orders like orders with engraving, special finger sizes cannot be accepted back for a return (refund, exchange or repair). E. Badly packed or uninsured items will not be accepted.
